A top-down fantasy adventure with pixelart and monsters.


Controls

arrow keys - move
space - use item
a/d - scroll through items
m - menu
escape - open menu (in game)/back (in menus)


Notes

  • There is only one ending
  • Controllers are supported, DualShock 4 and XBox One should work out of the box (XBox windows only)
    • For other controllers, button re-mapping might have to be done in the menu

About

I wanted to create a game like this since I was 13...it took about 23 years. But I only started developing this game in November 2020.

Install instructions

Windows

Just unzip the contents of the zip file to your hard drive and start the "demonsPortals.exe" executable in the demonsPortals folder.

MacOs

Unzip the contents of the zip file to your hard drive, open a terminal, navigate to the "demonsPortals" subfolder and execute "demonsPortals" by typing "./demonsPortals"
